Pediatrics

The Department of Pediatrics includes divisions in cardiology, neurology, endocrinology, genetics, gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, infectious diseases, nephrology, pulmonology, and allergy/immunology, as well as general academic pediatrics, critical care medicine and newborn medicine. Sub-specialists provide outstanding family-centered care for children of all ages. Research programs include basic science and clinical research on topics such as cancer metastasis, reducing infant mortality, asthma, quality and patient safety, chronic kidney disease and metabolism, and brain tumors. Our residency program and fellowships offer tailored training programs in subspecialty care, community-based pediatrics and clinical research to prepare the world's next generation of pediatric physicians.
